This nature house equals for peace, space and comfort. Within a three minute walk, you are in the middle of the forest! The detached house is set in a large private garden surrounded by trees. It is great to rest and children can play here safely. The ruralhut has a spacious living room, three bedrooms, a large veranda with outdoor fireplace, 1,000 square meters large garden with play equipment, a trampoline, swings, slide, cable car and comfortable garden furniture. It is a child and senior friendly, single storey house which is fully equipped. It is equipped with a flat screen smart TV, DVD player, kitchen with combi-microwave, large fridge with three freezer dishes, dishwasher, washing machine and free Wi-Fi. You can use the available bikes for free. There is also a go-kart with trailer. The garden is completely fenced with wire (in two places there is a fence which you can put in or remove). There are two spacious parking places at the house. Ruralhut 28024 is also located on this estate. You can also rent both ruralhuts together by booking house code 28073. Togheter they can accommodate up to 11 persons.

The nature house is situated on the edge of the Dwingelderveld nature reserve in Drenthe. It is a very diverse environment with beautiful forests with fens and heath lands. The ruralhut is an ideal base from which you can go cycling and hiking for great distance.  Many cycling routes and hiking trails start near the house. Or do you like segway driving or geocaching (gathering with GPS) from this fun spot? There is plenty to do in and around this ruralhut. This ruralhut is located 150 kilometers away from Amsterdam. The cottage is located between Meppel and Hoogeveen, near Giethoorn and borders Ruinen. The 3,700 hectare nature reserve is managed by "Natuurmonumenten" (Dutch Society for Nature Conservation). The "Drents Friese Wold" nature reserve is just a stone's throw away. You can visit the zoo (Wildlands Adventure Zoo) or the city of Emmen. The many nice villages like Bourtange, Ansen, Dwingeloo, Exloo or Orvelte are aslo worth a visit. The cottage is the ideal base for many cycling and hiking trails. Even the four day evening walk in Drenthe is a popular attraction. The tourist office of Wolden (VVV Wolden) is very active, both in spring and summer and autumn, even at natural sites.
