It is pleasant to stay in this comfortable, luxurious ruralhut that is located on an untouched dead-end country road, far from the inhabited world and far from the public road. The house is located in Southeast Friesland in the scenery of the beautiful Frisian Forests and near the three-provincial point (Friesland, Drenthe and Groningen). Cities like Drachten, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Heerenveen and Assen can be reached within 15-30 minutes. The comfortable living room with magnificent views over the beautiful scenery has a cozy sitting area with ambiance lighting and modern gas fireplace and has patio doors to a large wooden flood terrace equipped with garden chairs, outdoor lighting and firebox for ultimate 'outdoor living' feeling. The house has an open kitchen equipped with all appliances, a bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower and three double bedrooms (two large and one small below). Also, all windows and doors are provided with insect screens and the ground floor is completely free from thresholds. Wi-Fi, books and games are available. Dogs are welcome but no other pets. The ruralhut is set in a tree-lined couliss landscape amidst exuberant heaths and beautiful forests, and is located directly on extensive hiking trails and bike paths. The landscape is ancient and beautiful and is a beautiful area for discovering walking, cycling or sailing (for example, via the "Turfroute"). Nearby nature reserves include the "Duurswouder heath", the brook valley of the Koningsdiep, the ΅Bakkeveense Dunes", the "Oude Bosch", the "Fochteloërveen" and the national parks the "Drents-Frisian Wold" and "Alde Feanen". For the golfers, Beetsterzwaag is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the northern part of The Netherlands, and the Thialf ice skating rink in Heerenveen is only half an hour away. The abundance of nature, tranquility and beautiful views are definitely ingredients for a very pleasant stay in this ruralhut.
