In season the ferry from Gorssel takes you to the other side for a bike ride towards the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zutphen or Deventer. Wonderful walks on the estates of the many castles in the region. Or discover the Berkel area around Almen. For the art lover there are the Moore museums in Gorssel and in Castle Ruurlo, also the various museums in Zutphen and Deventer. Simple bikes from the house are available, bike rental in Eefde and Gorssel. Playgrounds and Gorssel's outdoor swimming pool nearby.
