The landlords have been living in Rampoux since 2009, a small village in the Lot in southern France. They own an area of more than five hectares, on which this ruralhut can be found. They have converted this former ancient stone barn into a comfortable ruralhut of 94 m² for two to six people. There is plenty of space surrounding the gîte, and there is a private parking space. The gîte has been classified with three stars! The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and iron and ironing board. Wifi is available throughout the gîte, and there is a TV and radio/CD player. An electric radiator is present in the living room, bedrooms, and bathroom. The bathroom also has a hair dryer. A cot and highchair can be made available in consultation. Electricity costs are charged outside the high season with an exemption of five kWh a day. The landlords can wash your laundry for you for a reasonable cost. A laundry dryer is also available. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the ruralhut.

The Lot is beautiful region in southern France, where rolling hills and authentic villages provide a pleasant holiday ambiance. There are no lengthy grain fields, but small-scale agriculture and forests determine the landscape. Many villages have weekly markets where local products are for sale. Cities such as Gourdon and Cahors or Rocamadour and Sarlat are well worth visiting, or perhaps the prehistoric caves and dripstone caves in Cougnac and Peche Merle. For the more active holiday and nature lovers, there is plenty to do in the area, including golf, fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. We have several hiking trails ready for you. Because we live between the tourist areas of the Lot and the Dordogne, there is peace and tranquility. However, that doesn’t mean you are far away from the tourist activities, as you can get there within 25 minutes.
