It was love at first sight, this cozy ruralhut on the edge of a farming village in the Ardennes hills. The interior was in need of a refurbishment, but with some paintwork, some new furniture and a wood burning stove it became a wonderful place to relax. With the unobstructed view of the two terraces (one downstairs and one above), across the spacious garden, you can watch the breathtaking sunset. The house owners did not have to add anything else. From the terrace you can spot the hawfinch, the spotted woodpecker, the buzzard and the red kite. With a bit of luck you can also spot the black stork, and with great certainty the ever-returning, unforgettable trek of the crane birds in the spring and autumn! You won't choose this house for the luxury, but you will for sure choose it for the peace and cosiness before and after a beautiful day off.

Leave the car if you want to walk through the rolling meadows and the wild endless forests in the area. For some adventurous cyclists there are boundless miles to be discovered. Those who like to take a trip with the car can go for a day to Liège or Namur, or the nearby medieval Durbuy. A long walk to the dunes of Wéris, a treasure hike in the castle ruins of Logne, the accompanying unexpectedly interesting museum, or a day in the Chlorophyle in Dochamps nature park, amazing for the children! If it is winter there is a lot of chance of snow, while it is still absent elsewhere in countries. There is even a real ski slope 20 kilometers away! To go for cross-country skiing you do not even have to go far to find beautiful trails. You can already sled in the garden! And in summer, just hang out on the terrace, or in the shade, or rent a kayak on the Ourthe, or climb or race or ride on Durbuy Adventures, or sunbathe on the shore in Hotton Bomal or the cute Sy, but the best of all: you can take a long walk through the cool forests, have a little paddle in a clear stream, take a nap and get to rest.
