The landlord has two apartments in this ruralhut. This apartment has been built on a cellar and accommodates two people. It is a sunlit apartment, though if necessary the Louvre shutters can provide enough cooling. Authentic elements of the gîte can be found back in the original fireplace and the beamed ceiling. The apartment has all the luxury of home and perhaps even more than that: a spacious walk-in shower with toilet and sink, and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. In addition, there is a cozy living room with adjoining bedroom where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning sun. The box spring beds are in large format: 80x210 centimeters. Of course WiFi is available as well as a flat screen HD TV with USB connection. You can have a wonderful breakfast on your private terrace in the garden (10,000 m²), where you can read a book with wine, or relax besides the blazing fire of the wood stove. In short: a perfect ruralhut to spend one or multiple weeks of your holiday in. This apartment can also be rented together with the other apartment (house code 26956). You will then receive a 10% discount on the rental price.

This ruralhut is located on the edge of the Cussy-en-Morvan village. This typical French rural village is set in the protected nature reserve of Le Morvan in Burgundy. There are countless of cultural activities nearby as well as various of recreational lakes, including the famous Lac des Settons. There are many Burgundy towns which you can visit, such as the beautiful old Roman city of Autun (20 kilometers). There are many museums, castles, markets, and brocantes in the area. In addition, there are many hiking opportunities around the ruralhut where you’ll walk through the unspoilt nature without meeting anyone for ages. Enjoy cycling or motorbiking through the beautiful and varied landscape. Not to mention the world-famous wine route of Burgundy, La Route des Grands Crus, with wines and restaurants in abundance.
