On the outskirts of this village stands against the slope our spacious vacation home with pool and WiFi connection. Experience the real Crete in one of the most beautiful locations on the island. This beautifully situated Greek house was built about 250 years ago. For the last hundred years, until 1960, the building was used as an olive oil mill. In 2007 the house was almost completely rebuilt, keeping the authentic, Greek style and atmosphere. The house has accommodation for four people. The kitchen is very fully equipped and much attention has been paid to the (sleeping) comfort. If you do not want to be in the 'middle of nowhere', but do want to enjoy the peace and quiet and space, you cannot imagine a more beautiful place.

The village of Lagolio is still pure and unspoiled. The house is located on the edge of the village high above the valley, with a gurgling mountain stream in the spring. Around the house you can choose from five lovely terraces with plenty of privacy. You will always find a lovely spot to have breakfast in the morning sun, or relax by the pool. You can enjoy a grandiose view of the valley and the surrounding hills, and further away the peaks of Psiloritis, the excavations of Festos and Gortys and the Mediterranean Sea. Regularly some buzzards hover over the valley, breathtakingly beautiful! Lagolio is a perfect base for beautiful walks to the coast, to the gorges of Rouvas(!!!), Martsalo and Agio Farango, or to the Psiloritis.
