What a setting and beautiful scene! Domaine à Marmande, a former farmhouse from the 12th century: quiet, informal, relaxed, homecoming feeling with playful oval pool. The long driveway with old oaks exudes an atmosphere of peace and security. The 80 m² apartment has 2 bedrooms (no connecting door), with 2 private bathrooms, for 2 to 5 people (max. 4 adults). The bedrooms each have a separate entrance from the veranda and are located next to the separate kitchen. There is a comfortable sofa bed in one of the bedrooms, ideal for children. The nature house has a veranda with garden furniture and barbecue/plancha. Ideal for two couples who want to vacation together, but still each want their own space. The beds are made on arrival (option: 1x double bed or 2x single bed possible) and all linen is included. No TV but free WIFI available. The house is for up to 8 people with 2 more rooms/private bathroom.

What peace! What space! This nature house is in the countryside surrounded by 3.5 hectares of grassland with horses, outside the small village of Berdoues and close to the forest. In the distance the peaks of the Les Pyrenees mountains. At 5 km is the village of Mirande (nominated Cittaslow by the Slow Life and Slow Food organization from Italy), where there are many small stores (and supermarkets). On any day of the week there is also a fresh market, in a village nearby. The Gers, where mass tourism has not yet penetrated, is a hilly region with many castles, abbeys and lakes. The region is one of the places with the purest air in Europe (beautiful perfect starry skies). There are plenty of recreational opportunities; hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, golf. A true paradise for the adventurous vacationer. There are many music and other festivals nearby, such as the great jazz festival in Marciac (July-August).
