The naturehouse is part of an old characteristic farmhouse (19th century) in the Belgium Ardennes and accommodates up to eigth adults and one baby (one dog allowed). The comfortable hut has recently been renovated. The other part of the farmhouse is sometimes used by the owner. Both parts of the farmhouse are fully separated and have their own entrance. The house is very well suited for families with young children. In the large garden (4200 m²) one can find playground equipment like swings, a slide, a petanque court, a trampoline and a zip wire. Of course there's enough space for barbecue, soccer and badminton. If there is snow one can go sledding down the slope in the garden. In case of a rainy day there is a game room with a pooltable and a soccertable. Plenty of toys for children are available. The house has two bathrooms, one with bathtub, toilet and shower and one with shower and toilet. The hut is decorated with care. From the 'vide’ you can look down into the spacious livingroom. It also has a fully equiped kitchen. This cottage is not available for groups of youngsters.

The naturehouse is situated in the village Trois Ponts, hamlet Lavaux, near the edge of a forest and on the, for bikers famous, ‘'Cote de Wanne”. It's an ideal departure place for many hikings in the surroundings. The house offers a panoramic view from the terrace on the valley of the Salm river. Behind the ruralhut starts a forest that ends five miles further in Recht, a village in the German speeking part of Belgium. On the other side one can see de rolling hills of the next valleys. There you can descend in the beatiful, romantic valley of the Lienne river. It's an ideal region for (mountan)bikers. The nearby Ambleve river offers opportunities for canoes and kajaks. In the hamlet Hénumont (three kilometers) children can ride a donkey, and in Aisomont (three kilometers) there are, in winter, possibilities for skiing and there is also a labyrinth. The cascades of Coo, a large amusement park Plopsaland and the international racecircuit of Francorchamps are less then eight kilometers away. Historic cities like Maastircht, Aken, Luxembourg, Trier and Liege are at a one hour driving distance.
