In the middle of the nature reserve "De Zuursche Duinen" you will find this beautiful nature house. The nature house is in-house newly built in 2014 and suitable for up to 6 people. The nature house stands in the middle of the forest on a spacious lot with lots of privacy. There is a fully equipped kitchen, fully equipped. The bathroom, located on the ground floor, has a rain shower and sun shower. The house also has a tiled floor, underfloor heating and pellet stove available. Furthermore, there are 3 bedrooms. 1 downstairs with a 2-person box spring bed and 2 bedrooms upstairs each with two 1-person beds and an infrared sauna in one of the upper rooms. Also here is a loft where it is cozy sitting. The cottage has a shed for bicycles. There are also garden chairs with cushions and a large picnic table/bench. Note: The house is not suitable for children under 14 years! Please respect the sleep ... no noise after 22.00!!!

The town of Steenbergen, in northern Drenthe, is located in the middle of the Groningen-Drachten-Assen triangle. Each place can be reached by car within half an hour from the nature house and speaks for itself: shopping, catching a movie or eating out. The area is wooded. Roden, Norg, Eelde, Haren, Leek, Zuidlaren and Veenhuizen are nice places to visit. Each has its attractions: good eateries, museums, and so on. In the vicinity are three lakes: the Leekstermeer, the Paterswoldsemeer and the Zuidlaardermeer. A little further away is the Lauwersmeer. A visit to the Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog or Borkum is within reach. A visit to Germany is also among the possibilities. There is a beautiful nature reserve under the smoke of Groningen, De Onlanden, an overflow basin of rainwater for the city of Groningen and surroundings. You can reach it by bike, bike paths have been constructed. The Fochteloërveen is also nearby. Here cranes are spotted. There are also several cycling and walking routes in the area. Books of these routes are in the cottage. For horse lovers there is the Fjordenpaard Center, where you can rent a horse or a covered wagon.
