You will find this real nature house on a dead-end road on the outskirts of the village of Engreux near Houffalize. It is quietly located on a large forest area of 5000 m² and cozily decorated. Entrance: spacious hallway with plenty of room for coats, walking shoes etc. . In addition, a large living room with dining area, sitting area and reading area. In the living room is, in addition to the central heating, a wood stove. Adjacent to the living room is a compact, well-equipped kitchen. Further on the ground floor 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with corner bathtub and shower cabin) and a separate toilet. Upstairs is a large loft with a book wall (a great place for children to play) and 2 bedrooms. The nature house is equipped for up to 6 persons, but because of the layout with bedrooms on the ground floor it is also a fine stay for fewer people. Attached to the living room is a covered veranda with fireplace/barbecue. Around the house a wooded garden with outdoor fireplace. The garden offers lots of privacy and a wonderful playground for children.

The village of Engreux can be reached (and left) by only one road. The other roads in the village all lead into the surrounding woods. This offers the possibility of hiking directly from the house. An hour or so walk around the confluence of the Ourthe River. A mountain bike track runs through the village, where you can go in all directions by mountain bike. In terms of sports, there are also the following possibilities: in winter cross-country skiing (Bertogne and Samrée) and skiing / cross-country skiing / sledding in Belgium's nearby ski resort of Baraque de Fraiture. In summer, canoeing, fishing, abseiling, swimming and golf (Durbuy, Spa, Clervaux). If you do not feel like all this: you can also just relax in the garden, read, listen to music or chat inside or outside. The village itself is small: a church, a few houses and a cafe where a simple meal can be eaten for a reasonable price. Groceries can be done in a supermarket 10 car minutes from Engreux. For shopping, there are the towns of Bastogne (war museum), Clervaux, La Roche en Ardennes and Durbuy. The Knauf shopping center just across the border from Luxembourg has many stores and there is cheap gasoline.
