In Burgundy-Nievre, 1km from village of Marigny-sur-Yonne, & 5.5km>city of Corbigny. 4 cottages>One wheelchair adapted. Grounds of 8000 m² with open views over horse pasture bordering the Canal du Nivernais. Beautifully situated between rolling fields and woods. The cottages are kept basic but have all the necessary comforts for a we live mostly outside in nature vacation >2 bedrooms. 1 room= more spacious for wheelchair. The sanitary area> drive-in shower. Handles present. kitchen>open countertop area. Sloping staircase to get on the covered terrace overlooking the valley "Canal". The pleasant living space with open kitchen is complete. Each cottage has its own barbecue. The cottage sleeps five: max 4 adults! The loft bed above the 2pers bed in room 2= for child up to 14 years. The nature house is surrounded by hilly meadow landscape. Lovely hiking, cycling and fishing. The Canal du Nivernais is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Right next to it flows the Yonne, where trout are fished. At five kilometers you will find Corbigny, a nice town with a beautiful 18th century abbey. There is a shopping street, the Friday market and a large market every second Tuesday of the month. There are two supermarkets (B1 and Aldi), as well as bakers, butchers, caterers, bank branches, several restaurants. Festivities, soirées musique on the cour of the abbey. 2nd w.end of August= annual Brocante days where people from far and wide come to visit. 5 large lakes e.g. Lac Chaumeçon (20 km), Lac Pannecière (reservoir, 30 km) with beaches and Lac Des Settons (reservoir, 40 km) where you can water ski, pedal boats or take a boat trip. The beautiful views with castles and charolais cows typical of the lush green region
