The city of Harderwijk with its beautiful boulevard can be reached by bicycle along with the city of Elburg via the sea route along the Veluwemeer.Fietspond for the crossing is halfway.Also a visit to the Hidden Village is impressive , which are reconstructed shelters from World War II. Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn is a must - the most beautiful castles are nearby eg Cannenburch in Vaassen -kasteel Staverden in Uddel the smallest town in Europe.
