The cottage is idyllically located on the Tienhoven Lakes, a perfect place for peace seekers and nature lovers. It is a cozy and comfortable two-person house with a large private garden surrounded by water. From the jetty next to the house you can go straight onto the water. Take a refreshing dive or row through a beautiful nature reserve to the Maarsseveense Plassen. Two canoes and a rowing boat are waiting for you. In the barn are two bicycles to explore the area. Fishing is unfortunately not allowed.The nature house has a spacious living room with open kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with sink and walk-in shower and a separate toilet. It is equipped with all conveniences, such as wifi, TV, nespresso machine with coffee and a fully equipped kitchen. All linen is provided and the bed is made upon arrival. The nature house can be reached by a footpath of about 300 meters or by rowing boat across the water.

The nature house is located in the Molenpolder, about three kilometers from the village of Maarssen and close to natural areas such as the Loosdrechtse Plassen and the Tienhovense Plassen. The excavation of peat for peat extraction created a marshy area here with legacies and migration holes. It is home to numerous special bird species, of which the kingfisher is perhaps the most beautiful. But the bittern and bullfinch are also regular guests. From the house itself you can take your rowing boat or canoe out onto the water. Or take a refreshing dip from the jetty. Lazing around with a book or bird-watching is also possible. The area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling. There are two bicycles ready to explore the area. There are beautiful trips to make, for example along the Vecht with its beautiful estates or to the center of Utrecht. In the cottage there are several walking routes ready, for example through the adjacent Bethunepolder. Fishing is not allowed.
