On one of the most beautiful spots of the Achterhoek you will find this nice nature house. The farm stands on the edge of a large estate. The nature house is located on the back part of the farm where the animals used to stay. From the original stable doors you look out onto the back yard with playing field. From the door on the right side of the farm you have your own access to this location. In addition to a spacious sitting area with sofas and armchair, you will find a large dining table with six chairs. Also at your disposal is a simple kitchenette with a microwave/oven, refrigerator and a two burner electric stove. So you can prepare your own meal, but of course you can also choose one of our delicious meals (for a small extra charge)! In the former horse stable you will find a very spacious bathroom which has been made suitable for the disabled. This bathroom contains a toilet, shower and sink and is exclusively for your company! The double room is located in the former calf stable and contains two single beds. The sleeping room for three persons is separated from the living area by a curtain and contains both a double and a single bed. The beds are made upon arrival.

From the grounds of the nature house you have a fantastic view of a pond and this gives you a varied view of the flora and fauna in the region in all seasons. You will find various species of (water) birds and previous guests even spotted deer in the meadow. The nature house is suitable for hikers and cyclists. You can be active or take the time to unwind. Since the nature cottage is located directly on the forest and a junction route, there is plenty of opportunity for cycling, hiking and other relaxing pursuits. The adjacent estate is about 560 hectares in size. It consists mainly of forest, but several old farms are also part of the estate. Lochem, Zutphen and Deventer are all a short distance away and have beautiful centers to spend a few hours. The area also offers numerous opportunities for excursions and various events are organized throughout the year. The cottage is located on the Pieterpad, running from Pieterburen to the Sint-Pietersberg, making it the longest continuous walking route in the Netherlands. The Achterhoek offers much variety through its forests, estates and meadows.
