This nature house is an attractive group accommodation in Purnode's former train station (built in 1904) and is suitable for groups up to 24 people. The group accommodation is fully furnished and fully equipped, including central heating, fitted kitchen, sanitary facilities, large communal area (with wood burning stove), a covered terrace and a beautiful campfire. The house is located in the secluded, wooded valley of the Bocq river, in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. The valley is characterized by a decor of green mountain slopes, overgrown rails and dark rail tunnels and is located between Namur and Dinant (± 2.5 hours drive from Utrecht). The flora and fauna in this part of the Ardennes are very diverse. For example, there are wild boar, deer and foxes frequently.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is on a dead end street, in the middle of the woods. The area is perfect for all outdoor sports, such as hiking, climbing and mountain biking. Above the village is a small local brewery, which brews delicious beer, worth a visit! Within half an hour you will find the Lesse river, the gardens of Annevoie, the castle of Veves, the Maredsous Abbey and the cities of Namur and Dinant.
