At the foot of Mount Etna, along the little river Alcantara, lies this little paradise. Peace, space, privacy and beautiful nature and (wine!) culture. A sweet converted farmhouse with a small pool in the garden for four people. This nature house is located a few kilometers from the extremely picturesque Etna village of Castiglione di Sicilia. The former old dilapidated farmhouse has been turned into a lovely little nature house with a large living room cum kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is also complete.In front of the cottage is a large terrace of about 50 m² and the whole is located on some 5000 m² of private land. Everywhere the presence of the imposing volcano Etna, which also gives its name to the famous Etna Doc wine produced here. Electricity, gas for cooking and hot and cold running pure drinking water are of course available. There is also a washing machine.

The little river "Alcantara," which winds around the foot of the slopes of Mount Etna, is fed by meltwater from the snow cap that covers the volcano from late December to late May. In this area, in addition to the many vineyards, the orchards consist mainly of hazelnut trees. Endlessly stretched between the hills, intersected by a maze of narrow roads. In the middle is the ruins of a sixth-century Byzantine church, here called Cuba Bizantina. The cottage is almost up against the Cuba. On the large, totally private property, you will find not only hazelnut trees but many other types of fruit-trees. This area, the northeast, is very diverse; so many things to do and see! Of course there is the majestic volcano Etna and the "Pearl of the Mediterranean" Taormina. Natural beauty, archaeological sights and typical Etna villages. The northeast has it all! On the coast there are several beaches, each with its own atmosphere.
