The nature house is about 100 years old and is located on a dead-end gravel path among rolling hills. After a thorough renovation in 2008, using many old building materials, it has become a very comfortable and fully equipped house with spacious rooms, one of which has a wing. The house is very suitable for two families to stay there, there are eight beds and a crib is available. There are two fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, three toilets and an outdoor kitchen for summer. You can also rent only the guest apartment on the ground floor. Limited WiFi is available everywhere, in the large living kitchen there is a TV and a good sound system with a large collection of DVDs. There is a loggia as a summer dining room with a traditional wood oven. The 3000 m² garden is completely fenced and is planted with roses, sage and lavender. There is a vegetable garden from which guests can eat. All around the house are places where you can read a book in the shade. On the property flows the Candigliano, a small river where children can play undisturbed, and 10 minutes walk away is a sheltered lake where you can swim.

The nature house is in the northern part of the region of Le Marche, a largely rural region with many small, medieval villages and towns, located in central Italy between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea. Culture abounds here. Nearby runs the ancient Roman Via Flaminia that connects Rome to the Adriatic coast. The ancient bridges are still completely intact in several places. You will find an abundance of silence and space in this region. The house is in the hills, but the mountains are not far. Above Piobbico, the nearest village (4.5 kilometers away), towers Monte Nerone and further south you can see Monte Catria and Monte Acuto. Towards the Adriatic coast, towards the Roman-era town of Fano, the hills get lower and lower and the area is more and more cultivated. The beach can be reached in 50 minutes.10 kilometers from the house is the small town of Urbania and a little further north (30 kilometers) the famous Renaissance city of Urbino, reached via a beautiful trip through the hills. Gubbio, Perugia and Asissi are a bit further away, but those cities and the trip through the Apennines to them are very worthwhile.
