This tasteful Nature house is located in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel and offers families with children, senior citizens as well as active vacationers and athletes a comfortable place to stay. On two floors and an area of 120m² you will find 4 double rooms, which can accommodate between 4 and 8 people. This Nature house is an ideal starting point for hiking, skiing, horse riding, cycling, motorcycling and car tours for families and sporty groups. In addition, this Nature house has a 2000 m² garden which is available to guests. Organize a barbecue evening or simply relax with a book or a sip of wine in one of the many cosy spots in the garden or enjoy the view over the hilly landscape from the covered terrace, which can be heated on cool evenings.

Hohenfels-Essingen is a small community with around 400 inhabitants in the Vulkaneifel district. The village is located between Gerolstein and Daun and lies in a densely wooded area with well-maintained hiking trails. The tranquil valley of the Hangelsbach is framed by the almost 600m high mountains, "Alter Voß" with the Befreiungsbuche, Feuerberg and Mühlenberg with the famous millstone caves. The Volcanic Eifel also offers a wide range of sights such as Eltz Castle, the Maare (various crater lakes), various historical museums and a number of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Nature house.
