A small informal B&B in the green heart of central Portugal. The nature house has four very spacious themed rooms, which are rented per room, breakfast is always included. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, towels and bathrobes. The bathrooms have a hairdryer and soap. Each room has its own identity and appearance, you can find all rooms through the following Nature House ID: 35669, 356670, 3566..3566.... Two rooms are together on the first floor and share the large bathroom. This 1001 night room has a large private balcony and the possibility for two extra beds. This makes it our largest family room and ideal for families with two children. A maximum of four people can stay in the room. Pool is open from April 2020!

The nature house is located in the municipality of Arganil in central Portugal. On our own mountain the Mont'Alto in the Serra do Açor. The Açor Mountains are characterized by beautiful slate rock formations covered with many species of shrubs and trees and crossed by a number of large rivers. Because of the mountainous landscape and the rivers, there are many waterfalls and some of them are in protected natural areas. The area is excellent for hiking, the house is located on a walking route towards the town of Arganil. A walk to the top of the mountain is also worthwhile. Besides hiking, kayaking on the river do Mondego is a popular activity or a bike ride on the famous ecopista which originates near the house. Prefer a day lazing on a river beach? That is also possible. In the immediate vicinity there are many to be found, some with all amenities others more basic but all lovely swimming water. Sights in the immediate vicinity are: Fraga da Pena (the waterfalls), Piódão (the slate village), Foz d'egua (one of the oldest river beaches), Serra da Estrela (with the Torre) and Lagoa Comprida (reservoir with natural hole).
