The nature house is the former home of our cozy head-neck-hull farm. The front house and the living barn are connected by an intermediate space and in it are the for common use, washing machine, dryer and cleaning stuff. The spacious kitchen has a wood stove, a large table with five chairs, a six-burner stove with two ovens and a refrigerator. A fixed staircase leads to the 1st floor where the bathroom has a bathtub shower toilet and sink. On the landing there is a double bed and a single bed. There is also a separate bedroom with a double bed. There is no toilet on the ground floor. In terms of sustainability, solar panels provide both houses with electricity and heat pump provides hot water and underfloor heating. A high efficiency boiler CV heats the front house and the sewerage is connected to an IBA system. There is wifi and TV. There are also 2 cats and 2 dogs living in the yard.

The nature house stands 500 meters from the road and is partly in nature reserve. A silence area with only the sounds of exuberant birds and at night a fantastic beauty of stars in the sky. West side is directly adjacent to this nature reserve with rare birds and butterflies. North side has an orchard with old fruit varieties. East side overlooks farms. South side is overgrown with plants, flowers and fruit bushes and here runs the unpaved easily accessible road to the outside world. The house is on numerous biking and hiking trails. Five minutes away you can kayak on rivers like the Scheene or the Tjonger. 10 minutes away is the Tjeukemeer where you can swim and sail trips from lake to lake. 10 minutes away are the Weerribben where you can rent whisper boats. In the winter the water freezes and you can make beautiful skating trips. Every summer Opera Spanga and Nijetrijne five minutes away.
