In the Thiérache, at the junction of the Aisne, Nord and Ardennes rivers and close to the Belgian border, you will find this ecologically restored gîte. It is surrounded with a garden, a lawn and a flower meadow. Isabelle and Régis will be happy to welcome you to their beautiful and spacious gîte. Adults and children can enjoy reading or discover board games here. You can rest here, enjoy the wonderful colors of the flowers and trees and listen to all the birds singing.

A few kilometers from the cottage is the Axe Vert hiking trail, but there are plenty of other trails. You can visit the Parcours Aventure le Chêne Perché and go tree climbing at Signy l'Abbaye, go canoeing at Hirson or have a look at the Parc Argonne Découverte wolf park near Vouziers.... Cultural attractions include, without a doubt, Parfondeval (six kilometers), one of the most beautiful villages in France, the routes of fortified churches and laundries, the Musée des Temps Barbares in Marle, the Saint-Michel Abbey, the Ecomusée in Fourmies, the Familistère and medieval castle of Guise, the Musée de la Forêt in Renwez. The cities of Laon,former capital, Reims for a culinary day trip and viewing the Champagne cellars and Charleville-Mézières are also to be discovered.
