The nature house, is a typical mountain house, an hut, which is part of a small alpage. The location is Alpi Lepontine, in a village named Montecrestese. The hut can be reached via road or via mountain path. The owner can bring and take back guests at the beginning and at the end of the period of location, by car. Otherwise guests have to leave their car at the end of the public road and walk about six kilometres. The baita was built over a century ago with stones and wood. At the ground floor of the nature house is the kitchen, a small toilet and the store for the wood. Heating and coocking is provided by a wooden stove which has also an hoven and a small boiler to prepare hot water. On the first floor there is the bedroom which can host four people all together. There are cots with materessess. Guests can bring their own sleeping bags or use the blankets of the baita. Electricity for lights is provided by sun panels and it is possible showering with shower bags of 20 liter.

This accommodation is situated in Isorno valley, a very wild and unknown valley in Ossola region. Besides the hut flows a creek where it is possible to take a cool bath, to keep cool drinks and watermelons but also can be enjoyed along a track of canyoning several km long with jumps up to 30 meter high. It is possible to hike, or cycling on the road and on mountain paths. It is possible to organize trekkings of few days sleeping in the bivouacs or in alpine refuges. Many animals populate the valley as deers, chamois, roes, eagles, partridges and more. Respect them! Also respect flowers and mountain huts which had been build by hand with great efforts. By night it is possible to observe an incredible amount of stars in an absolute dark and pollution free sky. Living there few days can be very relaxing and restoring. In summertime at the alpages can be possible to run into cows and goats grazing and buying milk, fresh cheese and butter. In the valley there are not inhabitants and you'll meet very few people.
