Spacious Forest House in the middle of Nature. An authentic nature house with nostalgia for days gone by. Ideal with your pet also because of the fenced garden. Completely free located in the Veluwe forest. You can park your car right by the house. The large windows in the living room give a beautiful view of the garden through which sometimes unexpected wildlife walks by such as deer or squirrels. The cozy sitting area has a modern wood stove, guaranteed cozy and warm by the fire. The forest house has 3 bedrooms, one with a twin bed, one bedroom with a double bed and a 3rd bedroom with a bunk bed. Furniture gets a second life with us. This is more durable than new furniture. This nature house is a perfect base for hours of hiking. Please note: The box spring beds have medium hardness. The nature house is located on a dirt road in the woods outside Otterlo. You walk from your cottage directly into forest / heath and Nature Reserve De Zanding. National Park De Hoge Veluwe is 1500 meters, Nature Reserve the Planken Wambuis just as much the other way. You can if you want use the facilities of a nearby small sustainable vacation park. There is a nice petting zoo where children can help feed the animals and take a ride on the horse. There is a store with organic products ranging from walnuts, chip, vegetarian meat substitutes to beer and wine. Souvenirs and postcards are also available and books, DVDs and games can be borrowed free of charge. You can also use the washer and dryer here for a fee. In the herb garden you can pick free herbs for your meals.From Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon, the terrace is open and coffee, tea and apple pie are served.
