Welcome to the Achterhoek. Unwind in this cozy nature house. Built by ecological builder Wim Mourits and is unique because of its breathable construction. The use of a special shielded bio-cable for the 220 volt outlets and a 12 volt light installation ensure limited radiation. The wood/loam stove (rocketstove) provides wonderful warmth, the loam, the natural sustainable materials and the artistic details provide a fine indoor environment. On the spacious porch of this nature house there is sun until late in the evening. On the field a campfire can be made and plenty of space for outdoor play and enjoyment. The loft is mainly for children because you cannot stand there. Upon arrival, the beds are made. There is plenty of wood supply for lovely warm evenings. There is Radiation Awareness here on the Court. In the group room on the grounds is free and fast Eco wifi which goes out at night. Pets are welcome by arrangement.

The location gives peace and quiet, there are plenty of birds to be heard and squirrels walking in the trees. There is its own health food store, hot organic bread can be ordered on Sundays, an outdoor pool (open from mid-May to October), animal pasture including ponies, vegetable garden, table tennis table, large trampoline and playground. There is also a wonderful barrel sauna that you can use for a small fee (15 euros). We are located near the Needse Berg. Nearby you can visit historic farms and fairytale castles. In the vicinity, for culture lovers, there is the museum More and artists village Diepenheim, among others. The area is ideal for cyclists and walkers: everywhere there are new, fun paths to discover in the varied Achterhoek landscape. At the house are two free bikes available, a men's and a women's bike. Hof van Moeder Aarde is a community place for personal development, sustainability and various enjoyment in peace and nature.
