The nature house is picturesquely located on the outskirts of Soffin, commune of Authiou, in the Nievre. Breathe in the fresh clean air and discover a sky full of stars at night from your terrace, far from the city lights and pollution. Have an aperitif on the terrace in the garden full of flowers with a beautiful view of the `Butte de Montenoison`, or fire up the wood stove. You can make use of our table-d'hôte (please notify a few days in advance). You can stay there safely without coming into contact with other people.

Soffin is located in a unique part of France , the département of Nièvre in Burgundy, between the Morvan and the Loire. The gently rolling scenery offers a different view every season. In spring we see the blossoms and brightly colored fields of rapeseed. In summer there are the waving fields of wheat with their different shades of green that turn golden yellow over time, they are interspersed with the fields of sunflowers and some pastures where the cows roam happily outside. And in autumn the beautifully colored forests offer a completely different sight. Every weekend somewhere in the neighborhood there are "Brocantes", "vide-greniers" or flea markets. If you would like to visit a larger city, Nevers (45 min.), Auxerre (60 min.), Moulin (1h.15m) or Bourges (1h.30min.) are possibilities. By car, you can reach Vézelay in a short time, this town on the edge of the Morvan with its famous basilica.
