This nature house is located in a small hamlet with 6 houses and a large farm. The cottage is still completely authentic in the sense that the old beam construction is visible and the layout is maintained. The cottage has a spacious living room with sitting area and TV. The kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. In the former stable is now a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Via the stairs you reach the attic floor with a Hästens double bed (200x 210). WIFI is free. The whole house has central heating, so that even in winter it is lovely to stay. Around the house is a large garden with a gazebo. In it are bicycles that you may use. On the porch of the garden house is a picnic table. Here you have the morning sun and you can enjoy breakfast outside. Under the veranda in the evening it stays warm for a long time and you can relax and enjoy long summer evenings.

The cottage is surrounded by farmland and depending on the season you can see flowering flax, wheat or meadow grass. The horizon is endless and every sunset provides a different spectacle. From the cottage you can take beautiful walks and bike rides. Het Zwin is a beautiful nature reserve on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium where you can make endless walks, but also enjoy the beach and the sea. The (quiet) beach at Groede is 15 km away. Here you will not be bothered by many tourists, especially at the quiet moments early in the morning or late in the afternoon. "Waterdunen" near Groede is a special nature and recreation area and is located on the border of land and sea. Here you can properly observe the interplay between water and land, salty and fresh, ebb and flow. Nearby are small characteristic villages such as Groede, IJzendijke, Aardenburg and Cadzand. Belgium is close by and Knokke and Bruges are definitely worth a visit.
