Welcome to the apartment in my spacious farmhouse in the Frisian countryside near Dokkum. Enjoy the tranquility and space with panoramic views! The apartment is on the 1st floor and consists of 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. You share the use of the spacious kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, oven, large spice cabinet) on the ground floor with the owner (Marianne). She is a care farmer on a biodynamic farm nearby (Engwierum) where she grows delicious vegetables and runs a farm store with her helpers. An ideal place for children to romp, ideal for alone or with partner/friends/family. In the rooms there is a kettle, a teapot and a cafetiere, towels and bed linen are included. You have your own entrance door to the apartment. There are 2 small ponies in the meadow and 2 cats in the barn. Garden, go-kart, 2 ordinary bikes and a table tennis table can be used.

The farmhouse is really located among the farmlands, with its neighbors half a kilometer away. The back of the farm borders the Jaachpad, a tourist bicycle path that runs from the Lauwersmeer to Dokkum. This Jaachpad lies entirely along the Dokkumer Grootdiep: a waterway in which it is also possible to swim/fish/canoe etc. A nice starting point to explore the picturesque surroundings. The village of Ee has a protected villagescape and a flax museum. The Lauwersmeer is a beautiful nature reserve for cycling and walking. A day trip to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland: the ferries leave nearby!
