Our home village of Bruschied sits on a mountain and has a wonderful view of the valley right on its doorstep. For us, it is the most beautiful place in southwest Germany. Step out onto the terrace and enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley. The (private) apartment is permitted for up to 4 people and is located in the basement of a chic HUF-inspired house. In front of the apartment there is a private terrace and garden. The apartment is very quiet as it faces west away from the main road, which also gives it good sun exposure in the afternoon and evening. There is a double bed with wardrobe in the first bedroom and a single bed in the second bedroom. A folding bed can also be provided. In the living room there is a couch, a flat screen TV (with Netflix), an armchair and a dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen has a hob, coffee machine, kettle and toaster (no oven). The cedar wood sauna costs 20€/use.

Bruschied is an idyllic hillside village with one of the best views of the Hunsrück countryside. There are dozens of interesting and scenic walks from the doorstep, including a hike to the Teufelsfels and 360° viewing platform and down into the valley to Schmidtburg (medieval castle ruins), a slate mine and a Celtic settlement. In addition to hiking, there are also excellent cycle paths, as well as fishing, horse riding and archery. If you are interested in day trips, the German gemstone capital of Idar-Oberstein offers great museums and shopping opportunities. Germany's longest suspension bridge in Mörsdorf also makes for an excellent half-day trip. The attractions of the Rhine and Moselle are both less than a 45-minute drive from here.
