This farm is more than 140 years old and figures in the history of Hattem. The nature house is part of the large front house with an authentic and beautiful garden. The nature house is located within the boundaries of the Hanseatic town of Hattem, but on the route to the picturesque Zalk. The IJssel is nearby and via the IJssel bridge you are within 4 km in the center of Zwolle, also a beautiful Hanseatic city. Hattem has a beautiful city center and a number of unique museums (Anton Pieck, Bakery Museum, Voerman Museum). You can enjoy hiking on the Molecaten estate, the northernmost tip of the Veluwe. Within 30 kilometers you are in Elburg, in Kampen, in the Weeribben, in Giethoorn, in Ommen, in Deventer, in Apeldoorn (eg Palace Het Loo), in the middle of the Veluwe and in Walibi. In Hattem you can eat and drink delicious food and Zwolle can safely be called a culinary capital. Zwolle attractions are museum De Fundatie, Waanders in de Broeren (a beautiful bookstore in an old church) and a boat trip on the star-shaped canal, rondje Zwolle finally is a wonderful bike ride.
