In the garden house are two double beds. Large garden with unobstructed views to enjoy beautiful sunsets over a crackling campfire (fire bowl available). Beautiful quiet area for walking and cycling (2 bikes available). The city of Groningen is 25 minutes by car. Parking is available at the house. A supermarket and train station can be found Loppersum 3.5 km from the house.

The Hoogeland is known for its many small villages with centuries-old churches with ancient tombstones. In Leermens there are special texts on the tombstones around the church. For walkers, there are many options and you can map out your own route via the walking junction. For cyclists, there are all kinds of options via the bicycle junctions. It is definitely worth visiting the city of Groningen with it as special buildings, the museum and the Forum. Appingedam is a picturesque town with many stores and the famous hanging kitchens. In Loppersum there are a number of stores, a train station and a sauna near Hotel Spoorzicht. In the summer there is a saltwater outdoor pool ( with a natural saltwater spring) in Loppersum and step back into the 1950s. In Steendam (20 minutes from Leermens) you can swim at the Schilmeer and rent boats at the recreation center the Otter. There is also plenty of fishing around Eenum and Leermens in the Leermenstermaar and Zeerijpstermaar. Have fun!
