On the edge of a nature reserve (Noordhollands Duinreservaat) you will find this nature house, a stylishly decorated vacation home with beautiful views. A quiet, pristine beach, accessible only to walkers and cyclists, is 1.5 km away across three dunes. The house is an excellent starting point for hiking, cycling, horseback riding, beach, sea, Alkmaar, artist village Bergen (20 min) and Amsterdam (30 min).

From our house you can walk straight into the North Holland Dune Reserve, with 5300 hectares one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. On the other side of the grounds you will find the Adelbertusveld, an ancient place for contemplation. Egmond Binnen (1km) is the nearest village, here you will find everything: supermarket, bakery, ice cream parlor and monastery (candles and beer). Egmond aan Zee (3km) is a lively beach village and Bergen (7km) a cultural village with good stores and restaurants. Alkmaar at 20min, Amsterdam at one hour travel time by public transport bike and train (via station Castricum or Heiloo).
