A beautiful natural garden faces south in front of the house. The old lime trees provide shade in hot weather. You overlook a naturally managed meadow with lots of wild flowers and insects. The kitchen has a country style with a kitchen island, stylish stove and built-in dishwasher. The rod divided windows allow you to look out into the garden as early as breakfast. The living room is still very authentic with a listed tile wall and an authentic bedstead wall. Also downstairs is the first double bedroom and the spacious bathroom with double sink, shower and bathtub. Two more bedrooms can be found upstairs.

Around the cottage you can enjoy the outdoors. The garden is landscaped with many native plants that are visited by butterflies and wild bees. The garden also contains a beautiful pond where dragonflies and frogs can be seen in abundance. In the meadow you can spot deer or hares. The picking garden is a hundred meters away. Here you can also pet dwarf goats, Froukje the cow and Femke the woolly pig. In the vicinity you can take plenty of walks and enjoy the protected village, the forests, the heath and the Holtingerveld. Also Giethoorn, the Wieden and Weerribben, and the Dwingelderveld are within cycling distance.
