This detached holiday home has a covered terrace with a stunning view and a pellet stove that creates a cosy atmosphere year-round. You can take a ride on the distinctive narrow-gauge railway or visit the 1100 metre-high Brocken mountain. In the winter there is a nice skiing area for families in Braunlage as well as single slopes and cross-country skiing trails in multiple villages. Popular destinations are Quedlinburg with its cathedral (25 km), Wernigerode and its castle (40 km), Gernrode (12 km), the Glasebach mine site (7 km), the Brocken (highest peak in Northern Germany; 45 km), Thale with the cliffs "Hexentanzplatz" (witches dancesfloor) and Roßtrappe, the Bode Valley (18 km), the Rübeländer stalactite caves (18 km) and the Kyffhäuser monument (39 km).
