The living room and kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious. There's lovely outside views on Lough Mask. You can hire fishing boats and equipment, enquire with me. The place is very remote not to say "At the end of the world". It's perfect for people who love nature, quietness, solitude, peace. It's the unspoilt countryside so most people living here are farmers or holidaymakers. There's a pub nearby, "Maíre Luke's" which is just 1k from the cottage. There's a small shop "O'Toole's" in Tourmakeady village for basic needs which is seven kilometres from the cottage. There's also a small supermarket in Clonbur along with two nice restaurants, which is 15 kilometres from the cottage. For main shopping with supermarkets and other shops the nearest town is Ballinrobe, 25 kilometres from the cottage. And although it's remote, it's in the centre of many famous places to visit in the west of Ireland and Connemara. - The Killary Fjord and Leenane, the only fjord in Ireland, 24 kilometres away. - Clifden, Connemara's capital, 65 kilometres away. - Kylemore Abbey, 40 kilometres away. - The cosy, vibrating town of Westport, 32 kilometres away - Galway, cultural capital of the West, 66 kilometres away - The famous village of Cong.
