This nature house is a bright, spacious and modern accommodation, equipped with a kitchen with an induction hob and refrigerator. In the nature house yellow painted elements can be found in the window frames, the round dining table and chairs and the double bed (1.60 m x2.00 m). The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet and is accessible from the hall. From the room you have a view of the garden, the lawn, the land behind the yard and the Wadden Sea dyke. A few meters away from the Black Barn is the Black Shed, which is very suitable for two children: equipped with bed, drawing/writing table, games cabinet. Under other costs you can indicate if you want to rent the Keet with it. Next to and in front of the nature house is a spacious terrace (south facing) shielded by a black fence, so you have plenty of privacy. There is an outdoor wood stove that can be used on the terrace or in the field at the back of the yard, where you can enjoy the sunset and the panoramic view.

The nature house is located on the former island of Wieringen 1 km away from the village with some shopping and catering facilities. The Wadden Sea is less than one and a half km away. Wieringen is very suitable for hiking and cycling. At Stroe, 2 km, you will find a picking garden; a little further you will find the Island Museum Jan Lont and the "Heidense Kapel". In Oosterland stands a 12th century church: 'an innovative home for life questions and an inspiring stage'. Concerts and exhibitions are organized here, among other things. 6 km away is the Amstelmeer with swimming and surfing facilities. In Den Oever, a fishing village, the Zeeverse Vismarkt is held every Saturday morning; there are also stalls with local products, From Den Oever, sailing trips on the Wad are organized and Wadlopen. A bicycle bus also departs from Den Oever over the Afsluitdijk, so you can cycle in Friesland. From Den Helder (20km) you can take the ferry to the island of Texel.
