This beautifully remodeled country apartment is part of our 1883 farmhouse. The farm is located away from the main road, so here is still peace and quiet and you can enjoy the real farm life. The guesthouse has its own entrance, living room with kitchenette, bedroom and nice bathroom with toilet and shower. The place is very bright and overlooks the vegetable garden, the meadow and the pony area. It is possible to order breakfast, including our own fresh eggs. Our price includes use of towels, bed- and kitchen linen, water and electricity, but excludes use of gas (hot water and floor heating). The latter we charge at the end of the stay.

The farm is located in the Woold, one of the hamlets of Winterswijk, on the border with Germany. Formed by the ice ages and partly influenced by man, the Achterhoek landscape is a coulisse landscape, where after every turn you are surprised with a new scenery. A selection of the beautiful spots in this area: The Wooldse Veen, one of the last remnants of the extensive bog swamp. A plank path runs through this special nature reserve. The Bocholtse Baan is now a bicycle path where the international train used to run. The quarry in Ratum, here the Eagle Owl breeds! And not to forget the Flamingo cycling route, the Strandbad Winterswijk (a natural swimming pool with sandy beach) and 't Hilgelo (a recreational area with sandy beach).
