Our 15th-century country house is located in the hills of Ciano di Zocca, half an hour's drive from Bologna and Modena, in Emilia Romagna. The house is perfect for 1 large family or 2 smaller families (4 to 9 people). Suitable for wheelchair. This beautiful, quiet large stone-built house is completely secluded in its own grounds (12 hectares) amid fields, woods and vineyards ("Vino dei Colli Bolognesi") in a non-touristy area of the Apennines. In our private lake (within walking distance!) is great for swimming. The interior has been recently renovated in a style appropriate to the environment. On the ground floor are the living room, spacious kitchen and a bedroom with bathroom (and washing machine). On the second floor there are 3 two bedrooms and a bathroom. In the attic there is another spacious room. The large country-style kitchen is fully equipped and offers access to the terrace with beautiful views over the fields.Ping pong table, badminton, babyfoot.

In the nearby Parc Regional di Monteveglio and the Rocca Malatina you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking. Golf camp and horse riding lessons within 3 -4 km.The region has a rich history: a large number of castles and Romanesque churches (Vignola, Guiglia, Monteveglio, Castello di Serrevalle). The area is known for its wines and cuisine, with some very good restaurants just a 5-minute drive away. Bologna and Modena are 35 km away; within an 80-130 km radius are the cities of Verona, Florence, Lucca, Ravenna, Imola and the Adriatic Sea.
