Nature house in St Oedenrode
North Brabant, Netherlands
- 10 persons
- 4 bedrooms
- Contactless stay
- Pets allowed
In a very beautiful location is our authentic Nature House. You arrive via a driveway. The house is located on an acre of fully fenced forest. Pets are welcome. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen. One bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. In the hall is a second toilet. There are also 2 spacious bedrooms, living room and dining area. Through a narrow open spiral staircase (with stair gates) you go upstairs to the small bedroom in the ridge with sink and 1 bed. Or you go to the special sleeping loft with 2 twin beds and a single bed. When the weather is good, it is great to stay outside. On the terrace, or with the guitar around the fire pit. In lesser conditions, it is as the text in the house says, "when it rages outside, it is good inside." Snuggle up by the wood stove with a book a game or just relax. You will go "back to basics" in our unique house in a very special place. A family house par excellence! For now, we especially wish you a very good time.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located a short distance from Son and Breugel, directly on the Vresselse Bos with several fens, including Hazenputten, Oude Putten, Moelkuilen and the Mosbulten. Various walking and cycling routes (including MTB) start from natural gate the Vresselsehut. The municipality of St. Oedenrode (voted the greenest municipality in 2000) is located on the edge of the National Landscape: The Green Forest, a 35000 ha area in the city triangle of Eindhoven, Tilburg and 's Hertogenbosch with lots of nature, forest, heathland, beautiful villages, historical sights and typical Poplar landscape. Some well-known nature reserves in this triangle are Scheeken and the Mortelen with their red deer and further away the Campina and the Loonsche and Drunense Dunes. Across the Vresselseweg you will find the Dommel. Along this meandering lowland stream you will find various walking and cycling routes a view of wooded banks, forest meadows and hay fields and puddles, in short, everything that typifies the East Brabant Landscape.
