Our cottage stands on a forest plot of over a thousand square meters surrounded by natural areas. The plot is without fences, plants mark the boundaries, only the terrace side with garden is fenced off. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 with bunk beds the other 2 bedrooms have double beds. The living room has an open kitchen and is adjacent to the garden terrace where many birds and squirrels can be seen. Electricity, gas, water, sewer and wifi are available. Gas is used for cooking, hot water and central heating. The cottage has recently had a new roof and insulation, all windows are double glazed. There are outside power outlets for charging car or bike. Arrival on changeover day after 16:00 and departure on changeover day before 11:00. Energy consumption is highly dependent on the number of persons and season, therefore, the energy costs are deducted from the deposit on the basis of meter readings at "Energy from Us" rates applicable during the rental.

The cottage is located in the hamlet of Meddo northwest of Winterswijk in the Achterhoek. A walk from the cottage through woods, meadows and moors brings you in the middle of the nature reserves; Korenburgerveen (2km), Vragenderveen (1km) and Corlese moor (0.5km). The famous Winterswijk quarry is 10km away. Neighborhoods Ratum with Willinks Weust and Kotten on the German border are less than 15km away as well as the Wooldse moor. These are all special natural areas for the Netherlands. Directly around the cottage is also a lot of nature to experience. There are many hiking and cycling routes near the cottage.
