Fairy tales of robbers, fairies and witches are omnipresent in our region, which the North Hessian mountains owe to the Brothers Grimm and their collection of legends. Step into our fairytale hostel that brings the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm to life. The 84 square meter apartment "Brüderchen" offers guests on the ground floor 2 bedrooms with a total of four beds, living room with open kitchen, pantry and shower room with underfloor heating. The large garden offers guests seating under old fruit trees, where they can sit outside in fine weather, have a barbecue or lie in a deckchair. 3000 square meters offer plenty of space to play, relax and unwind. When renovating the building, we placed great emphasis on sustainability, also to emphasize the original character of the house (built in 1928). We want to emphasize individuality in living and furnishing and have deliberately avoided a uniform look.

The cities of Göttingen, Kassel, Eisenach, Melsungen, Eschwege and Witzenhausen are all within a radius of 60 km. In Hessisch Lichtenau, 3 km away, you can discover all amenities such as shopping facilities, doctors, indoor swimming pool, the famous Holleum museum and cultural events. For cycle tourists, Walburg is located directly on the Herkules-Wartburg cycle path. The popular 84 km long Grimmsteig hiking trail can be hiked in several stages. The Frau-Holle-Land Geo-Nature Park is an attractive destination for hikers. Active tourists get their money's worth on 24 premium trails. Art on the hiking trail can be experienced on the ARS NATURA. It is the longest art trail in Germany, with the densest art network.
