Our vacation home (58m2) was built in 2022 and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The cottage is located on open water with direct access to the Lauwersmeer. Boats can be moored directly in front of the cottage. Behind the front door you enter the hall with access to the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom with toilet and rain shower and the living room with sliding doors giving access to the first terrace. In the kitchen you will find a combination microwave/oven a fridge with freezer, a dishwasher, sink with hot/cold water and a 2-burner induction hob. Of course, coffee machine (pad and filter) pans, cutlery, glassware, plates etc. are available. In the living room you will find a 55" television with sound bar, a sofa that sleeps two more people. On the waterfront there is a second terrace with a picnic table for those pleasant (summer) evenings. There is a 500 Mbps fiber optic connection and WiFi available. solar panels and a charging station are installed.

The cottage is located on a headland in the National Park "Lauwersmeer" ideally located for water sports, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and fishermen.Within walking distance are several restaurants. In the nearby "Esonstad" include playgrounds an indoor pool and children's playground, pitch and Putt golf course, boat / bike rental, laundry, small supermarket, cafeteria, pizzeria and a brasserie present. In Anjum, 5 km away, there is a large "Plus" supermarket, butcher shop, ATM. From Egon-stadt or Lauwersoog a visit to Schiermonnikoog is a lovely day out. A visit to the fortified town of Dokkum (12km) is also worthwhile. The worthwhile cities of Leeuwarden and Groningen are also within 45 minutes. There is still some construction activity at the park.
