Henry and Geneviève will welcome you as their guests in this foundation of the Grandmont order, classified as a Historic Monument, whose chapel and chapter house, both built in the early 13th century, are admirably preserved. At Le Breuil-Bellay, nature is always present If the weather is fine, you can enjoy your meals in the open air in the cloister or in the garden, facing the forest or on the terrace under the stars... If the evening is cool or rainy, you can take refuge by the fire in the priory's former chapter house, now our lounge. During the day, you can stroll through the paths of our small private forest and observe the wild flora and fauna. You can also take one of the many signposted hiking and cycling itineraries through the surrounding vineyards and forests. Children (accompanied by their parents!) will have a wonderful time with our gentle and affectionate donkey Dom. Accompanied by their parents, they can also get close to and stroke Moses, our ram, and collect eggs from our four hens every morning...
