The cottage is located in Gelderland, in the outskirts of the town of Vragender. The nature house is located on the edge of the Vragenderveen. This unique moorland has been successfully managed for 65 years by the foundation Marke Vragender Veen. One of the hiking routes will give you a small insight, and excursions are also available to enter the protected nature reserve. Numerous cycling routes are available in the area, leading you to e.g. the picturesque fortified towns of Groenlo or Bredevoort, and take you through the beautiful border area with Germany. The village of Vragender is adorned by corn mill De Vier Winden, and cozy catering facilities are available. Vragender is located in the beautiful Achterhoek region. The region is characterized by its scenic landscape: alternating meadows, wooded banks, streams, forests and dirt roads. Scattered are idyllic towns, with castles and museums.
