The treehouse-dream cabin has a sitting area, 2-person bedstead, 1-person folding bed, coffee and tea possibility, and terrace at height, incl. electricity and WIFI. The size is 7.5m2 + separate box bed of 2.10×1.40. Especially suitable for 2, max. 3 persons (of which 1 or 2 child). It's great to sit so high up and look out over everything. Sanitary facilities can be found in the part of the farm. There is also a small kitchenette you can use, sometimes shared with another guest. The treehouse is insulated and heated with an electric radiator. It comes up to temperature fairly quickly, depending on your behavior with windows and doors, but in winter it remains a chilly form of camping. Then the Kota (with wood stove) is warmer. There is an electric blanket available and plenty of quilts/blankets, as well as a fire pit for a campfire. We usually do have a room or apartment free in case the weather is very bad.

Somewhere in the Achterhoek stands a monumental farmhouse. In the yard, chickens, ducks, peacocks and pigeons scratch about. In the distance you can hear a cuckoo, golden oriole, horses graze in the meadow. A place out of time. Beautiful clearings in the forest invite meditation. Erve Veldink is a farm with a history dating back to the 14th century. The current buildings are 120+ years old and are listed buildings. They are located at the edge of the village of Haarlo (near Borculo) in the middle of the typical Achterhoek scenery, with its private character and beautiful vistas, where pieces of forest, meadows, fields and streams alternate. Beautiful for hiking, cycling and stargazing. The farm is occupied by a few permanent residents.
