The village of Streckewalde is part of the municipality of Großrückerswalde and is located near Marienberg. In the immediate vicinity of the house there are many different hiking and cycling routes. About a 30-minute drive away is Oberwiesenthal/Bozi Dar where there are also numerous hiking and cycling routes. In winter, many of these hiking trails are also great for cross-country skiing. Besides the many nature there is also a lot of culture to sniff. From Fortresses and Castles to underground Mining Museums, from Planetarium/Star Watch to Motor (sports) Museum.
