In a unique place, just outside Serooskerke, 10 minutes from the forest and the sea you can enjoy the tranquility and rural life in and around the vacation home. The cottage is located (attached to our house) on a dead end street surrounded by fields and greenery. For 6 persons + child under 2 yr. Layout: private entrance, enclosed spacious private garden (east) overlooking the meadow with sheep and the fields of the farmers behind. Entrance hall, (small step to the) living room with sitting area, toys, games, books and magazines, dining area and kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and double sink, 1 double bedroom on the ground floor, spacious landing and 2 double bedrooms upstairs. Height upstairs variable, max 2m high (sloping roof). Cribs available, please bring your own bed linen. Parking on private property, 2 cars. Includes towels and kitchen towels (set per person / per stay) and beds made on arrival. Free use of washing machine for stays of 2 wk or more. No pets.

Serooskerke-Walcheren-Zeeland: there is more than enough to see and experience here, both for the peace-seeker and the adventurer. The Walcheren coast offers miles of beach, sea, dunes and forest to walk, cycle or just enjoy. The Holiday Home is within cycling distance of the most beautiful hiking areas such as Oranjezon (Vrouwenpolder) and the Manteling (Oostkapelle). But also from the cottage you can walk straight into the polders, beautiful views over the fields, enjoying all the birds present. The historic towns of Middelburg and Veere are definitely worth a visit, they are full of beautiful buildings, old squares and streets. They also offer good shopping and eating out. There is also no shortage of children's entertainment, such as Hof Poppendamme in Grijpskerke, Tropical Zoo in Kwadendamme or nearby, play farm the Young John in Serooskerke.
