This 6-person nature house is located on a partially fenced plot surrounded by old oak, beech and chestnut trees. There is a large carport and 4 spacious terraces with sun and shade. In the garden between three chestnut trees is a nice treehouse for children up to about 10 years. The format: * hall with access to the living room, the 3 bedrooms, the bathroom and the toilet * spacious living room (46 m²) with doors opening onto the veranda (18 m²) * open kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, induction hob, extractor and microwave * 3 bedrooms, with spacious closets; 1 bedroom has doors to the garden * utility room with 200 liter boiler, washing machine, dryer and extra refrigerator. Heating: electric heaters in all rooms and a wood stove in the living room. The bungalow is adapted for the disabled: high-low bed, toilet supports and a shower wheelchair. This nature house is located just outside a 4-star estate in Le Verdoyer, commune of Champs Romain. With swimming pools, restaurant, bistro, terrace and in high season the Kidsclub, you have the joys but not the burdens. The reception of the chateau is the contact point for our guests. They speak Dutch, French and English. The village is centrally located in the Parc Naturel Regional Perigord Limousin in a rolling landscape with forests, fens and castles. Nearby are the villages of Abjat sur Bandiat, Saint Saud Lacoussieres, Saint Pardoux La Riviere, Piégut and Brantome. The latter two have lively weekly markets. St. Jean de Cole is one of the most picturesque villages of the Perigoird and well worth a visit. A 45-minute drive away are the cities of Limoges, Angouleme and Perigueux. For daily shopping one can go to Saint Saud and Nontron. In the immediate vicinity are many hiking and cycling trails including the voie vertes, the paths built on old railroad tracks.
