The house is fully equipped. It is located on the outskirts of the village, in the middle of a mountainous area. The house has a living room with open kitchen and upstairs three bedrooms with two beds each. The house is heated with a pellet furnace with pellets, which come from the Swiss forests. The kitchen has an induction cooktop and electric oven. Under the building is a basement with washer, dryer and freezer. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the 2,999-meter-high Piz Beverin and all the other mountain peaks in the wider area. You can see for miles and enjoy the view.

Oberurmein is located at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. It can be reached by bus/car from Thusis, location 720 m.. There is a train and bus station in Thusis. In winter, the bus goes as far as Oberurmein. The rest of the year you have to walk 20 minutes from the bus stop to the house. In Thusis are all the necessary shops/supermarkets. In Oberurmein there is a small store for the very necessary products, especially from the area. There is a restaurant. From the house you can make many walks or bicycle tours (mountain bike or e-Bike). There are several mountain lakes nearby. From the house you can reach cities like Chur (oldest city in Switzerland), Arosa, Sankt Moritz, Davos, Flims within an hour and of course also by train from Thusis. All the famous Swiss trains also stop there, such as the Albulatrein, the Benina and Glacier Express. Several thermal baths can also be found nearby.
