Light-flooded and tastefully furnished vacation apartment on the entrance floor of the former Rodholz country school with its own terrace and garden access. The apartment consists of a large room, which is divided into a living and dining area with pull-out couch and open, fully equipped kitchen and a sleeping area with a double bed (160cm). The sleeping area can be visually separated with a string curtain. Adjacent to the apartment is a large wooden terrace, which leads directly into the natural garden with an open plot overlooking the countryside, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the midday and evening sun to the sound of the stream. The separate bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with 2 hotplates and is fully equipped for cooking and eating. The fridge includes a freezer compartment.

The property with its spacious open plot is situated in an idyllic outdoor location with a stream, fish pond, colorful flower meadows and close to the forest, in the middle of the Rhön biosphere reserve. From the apartment and from the outdoor area you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the Rhön mountains (including Pferdskopf). The Guckaisee can be reached on foot in 30 minutes. The former country school building was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2004. Shopping facilities are located in Poppenhausen approx. 2.5 km away. Dogs are welcome in the accommodation. They must be kept on a lead and are not allowed on beds or seating. Surcharge 30€ per stay. The sauna in the house (same level) can be used for an extra charge.
